CASE STUDY II
Berean Baptist Christian Academy (BBCA) is a small private school. In the face of a state-wide decline in enrollment, BBCA was looking for the most economical way to reach new potential student families and reinforce its positive image to existing parents.
BP developed a new website for the school that emphasizes their high quality curriculum, the variety of programs available and facilitates communication between staff and parents. Photography of happy students and a curriculum are featured on the home page. There are a total of 7 blogs on the website which are helpful to keep parents up to date with school activities. Each teacher has their own blog plus a whole school blog for the principal and a sports blog for the coaches. Additionally, an online school calendar is easy for staff to update so parents can easily see when vacations/school plays/sports practices etc. are held. To help out the school office, documents such as applications and the school handbook are available for download online and if parents wish, they can make tuition payments online as well. Another way the website will be used to reach users is through entertaining parody videos featuring the school's principal that will be posted on the BBCA website as well as secondary sites like youtube.com.
The end result was an extremely professional representation of the school that is available to their target market 24/7. BP is conducting a search engine marketing campaign to make sure when potential student families are researching schools that they can easily get to the BBCA website. The website works very well as a stand-alone marketing device or can be used in combination with signage/print ads/direct mail to add value to those mediums.
